Call To Action
We created this page to showcase those organisations who are selflessly striving to create a better environment for us all. You can read about them here and how you can support them in their work.

What we do and why
We are a not for profit organisation – returning income back into training, education and the management of the woodlands we create.
Our philosophy is simple – we plant 9 trees per person, per year to help balance one
individual’s personal carbon footprint. We undertake this by creating sustainable, native,
broadleaf woodlands around the UK. By planting the right trees in the right places we also
promote biodiversity and enhance habitat corridors.
9Trees also promotes jobs and skills within the local countryside and woodland sector.

Allia Future Homes
I was introduced to Allia Future Homes in a meeting with Daniel Renn and I was greatly impressed with the work they do in tackling homelessness. You can read about their work below and maybe some of you are in a position to support them.

Allia Future Homes is a skilled, totally independent social enterprise who help homeless charities and partners build more homes for people previously homeless, particularly focusing on vulnerable single people. Specialist designed new communities that add to the country’s specialist housing.
We’re a small team based in Cambridge, part of social enterprise Allia. We are working on projects and potential sites in many UK towns and cities, e.g. council or church sites.
We fill skill gaps for charities and partnerships with our customised support package – adding powerful skills and capacity. Driving project every step of the way to completion. Supporting ambitious homeless charities and partners rooted in their communities – plus councils and wider partners. Helping them convert their ambitions to tackle a serious local homeless need in their town or city. Into a new successful community.
