Environmental restoration through practical action

9Trees is a not-for-profit organisation focused on long-term environmental restoration through native tree planting across the UK. Their philosophy is simple and measurable: to plant nine trees per person per year, helping to balance an individual’s personal carbon footprint.

They deliver this by creating sustainable native broadleaf woodlands, planting the right trees in the right places, promoting biodiversity, and enhancing habitat corridors. Beyond environmental benefits, 9Trees actively supports jobs, skills, and training within the local countryside and woodland sector.

As a not-for-profit organisation, 9Trees reinvests income back into education, training, and the long-term management of the woodlands they create — ensuring lasting impact rather than short-term gain.
